“…It’s rare to feel like your primary care physician has the combination of time for you, the listening skills, the experience, and the overall medical acumen. I had been her patient before she opened this new clinic, so I already knew that she was a great listener who seeks to help patients be their most healthy version of themselves. Dr. Shanks is approachable and easy to converse with. In short, she has the perfect bedside manner.
This practice does not deal with insurance, though I find the value proposition to be exceedingly worth it. I had tried other concierge medical clinics, including “One Medical” when they were starting out some years ago—and they were pleasant but not to the extent of working with Dr. Shanks.
I’m not sure how long Dr. Shanks will have room for new patients, but I feel very fortunate to be a patient in her practice." -
